Schlaraffia® is a worldwide association of men committed to cultivating art, friendship and humor. Their motto is "In arte voluptas", which means "In art lies pleasure".
Today there are about 250 chapters worldwide with over 9,500 members predominantly in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, but as well in North and South America, South Africa, Thailand and Australia. German is spoken in each of these chapters.
